How psychology tells us what advertisements work well.

Marketing is a powerful way to connect to an audience. For years market researchers have been charting numbers and polling consumers in an attempt to find the algorithm that will allow them to sell you on their product or service. Using inviting colours and flashy banners can attract attention but if you don’t retain the information how effective was that marketing?

What would happen if you applied psychology to the equation? What would happen if we took our working knowledge of the mind and how it reacts to stimulus and re-applied it towards consumer and market trends?

What you would get is Switch Video’s Psych Series comprised of three stories spanning a week long theme of informational marketing pieces. Read them starting next Tuesday.
