Besides the radio, there was once a time when access to multiple musical artists came on homemade mixed tapes or the Dance Party ‘96 CD. We heard the same songs over and over again. Now that we have the world wide web, there is a way to get live streaming music anytime and anywhere.

Through the use of white board animation, Spotify explains how their software can bring people millions of songs instantly. Their white board animation shows the evolution from vinyl to cassette to scratchy CD to MP3 player, using simple line drawings and documenting the running time of each sound device. Once upon a time we had a time limit placed on our musical selection. Now the choices and time we share with our music experience is endless and this whiteboard style video explains that evolution very effectively.
