Chris Dacol always believed he would have a future in the art industry. As a child he was strongly influenced by animated films and games — and now he gets to work on them!
Enchanted by the process of creating and sharing ideas, Chris earned a Certificate in Arts Fundamentals from Sheridan Institute in 2001. Chris was immediately accepted into the prestigious Classical Animation course at Sheridan and after a lot of hard work and dedication, earned his Advanced Diploma in Classical Animation in 2005.
Chris’s strong creativity, drive to improve and animation skills are apparent to all who work with him. Prior to joining Switch Marketing, he worked on a wide-range of animated programs for television broadcast on Teletoon, Comedy Network, National Geographic for Kids and Jetix.
At Switch, Chris’s skills in flash animation, classical animation, illustration, concept design, film techniques and storyboarding are constantly put to the test. Chris particularly enjoys the creative aspect of the diverse work with Switch. Here each day is different – Chris can be creating superheros on one day and witty loan officers the next!
