What a trip it’s been to grow a business and get on the list. In two short years, Switch’s founder, Andrew Angus, took a company of one, founded in his basement and turned it into full fledged business. Now Switch is a team of 25+ animators, project managers, script writers, marketers and salespeople all making videos in a regal, old home in the heritage district of Collingwood, Ontario and selling them to a host of clients worldwide.
Switch is thrilled to make the PROFIT HOT 50 ranking and honoured to find themselves in the company of so many great businesses across the country. Such an honour provides an opportunity to reminisce about our big city, Toronto friends Freshbooks and Rypple who have been with us from the start.
Thanks Freshbooks. We used your software to generate our first invoice just two years ago and we still do today. You’ve officially documented and tracked our success in a spreadsheet format.
Thanks Rypple. Switch couldn’t manage it’s team without you. You’re the innovative, completely human piece of HR management software that keeps our team happy and focused.
We’re thankful to have the support of friends on our journey to the PROFIT HOT 50 and into the future. But for now, we’re going to savour the moment and look back over the past two years with stars in our eyes.
But hey, that moment is over and now we’ve got more than just a few videos to make and maybe a celebratory toast to write.
